CAST GLASS WORKSHOP

Bannockburn Arts is super excited to offer limited places to a Glass Casting workshop in Bannockburn on 14/15 October 2023.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to do sculptural glass casting. These workshops are not easily available so to have Carmen Simmonds, a well known  professional glass artist and experienced glass tutor from Whanganui in Bannockburn running a two day beginner workshop is fantastic. This informative and fun filled two day workshop,14th and 15th of October, is a comprehensive introduction for beginners in glass casting. Participants will learn the ancient art of lost wax casting and mould making to create a beautiful glass box piece embellished with your own designs and textures.
